Saturday was an incredible day!
I competed in the Goolwa round of the Australian National Busking Competition. 🎶

I was so lucky to win 🥇 first place in the Primary Category and was totally blown away to also receive first place 🥇 in the People’s Choice Award!

Thank you so much to @goolwacommunityassociation and the @anbcbusking who made this possible, and to all the amazing volunteers who kept smiling, supporting everyone and braved the wind all day!

And a huge thank you to the community for coming out and showing your love by throwing us gold coins all day! 💰❤️

The talent this weekend was incredible to watch and I loved being part of it!

Can’t wait to be back for 2027! 🎶

It’s been a lot of big things in a short time, but not in the way you might think!

When we came back to Tamworth, we didn’t have no grand plan at all. We just wanted to play, have fun, and see where it would take us. Hell, we didn’t even book a spot this year! We wanted proper busking. No stress, no overthinking it, just seeing where it would take us. We’d wander round until we found somewhere free, set up, and jam. Cos life ain’t no good unless you’re flying by the seat of your pants!

That approach isn’t just about Tamworth. It’s how we’ve tackled every gig, tour, and challenge we’ve had, from the @anbcbusking championships, to making Top 10 at @tcmf_official , to our own self-managed interstate tours. The milestones and recognition have followed, but the focus has always been on showing up, enjoying it, making friends and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Someone shared a line with me last year that’s stuck “It’s your Tamworth. What do you want it to be?”

Turns out, that idea works anywhere. Play your way, enjoy the ride, and the rest will follow.

We’re grateful for how it all played out… and quietly excited about what’s ahead. There’s a bit on the horizon this year, but we’ll share more about that soon!

@mooloolabamusic 🎙️ Live Sessions 2026, what an honour it was playing for this fabulous business. The Team at Mooloolaba Music treat everyone like 🎶 family who walk through their doors plus their holding stock is incredible. I got to choose my guitar or guitars, I chose to use my faithful Mini Maton and this bright pink Taylor Guitar💓. I also incorporated the base with my Wild Dog Stomp.

Larissa from @localsintheloopsunshinecoast was there to curate content along with a team of handy film and tech professionals joining the Mooloolaba Music team. Yep, I was more than spoilt, my great grandma Alison would have said I was ruined after this session. 👵

I performed Zach Bryan’s Something In The Orange & my original Ruby The Pit Pony. More to come from this evening and I’m forever grateful to etch this moment into my memory box. Thank you for having me Mooloolaba Music. 🎸

You can listen to my 3 original songs on @soundcloud 👇🏼

We HUSTLED on Sunday at Ruby’s last set for @anbcbusking !

45 min shoot, a break before the presentation meant I could edit in the car and deliver her reel within an HOUR of filming then an impromptu photoshoot and delivery of all content within a few hours (on a Sunday too!)

I’m not here to mess around, book a power hour for content creation with me asappppp

Ps it’s not often I book shoots within a couple of hours but when you need the content sometimes ya gotta book last minute and I do my best to be available!

Just found this clip of me having a ball in the snowy mountains town of Cooma back in November.

On top of playing a thousand street shows, I ended up playing sets at the Alpine Hotel ( @alpinehotelcooma ) for all three nights of the Australian National Busking Championships ( @anbcbusking ) weekend.

This was the first night, where the competitors had a chance to play a few songs to each other by way of saying g'day. I hit 'em full blast for the fun of it and had a delightful time.

I won the final heat on the saturday and then clawed my way to second overall in the national final on the sunday, which I took as permission to dub myself "Australia's 2nd Best Busker."

With some of the prize money, I popped into Sydney's Kiln Studios ( @kilnstudios ) to make what I thought was gonna be a quickie EP and ended up being a full acoustic album of my best street songs. I named it after that lil' title.

Figuring out how to mix an acoustic record took me the whole of december, but I'm really proud of it.

My take on this Slim Dusty tune is on it along with a bunch of other covers and some of my own oddball story songs. You stream and buy it from my bandcamp at woodycampfire.bandcamp.com . When you buy stuff, it's a big help in getting the costs of my travels out of Western Australia paid up, and it's a vote of confidence that makes it easier for me to decide to spend the time and money on producing more records for ya.

Thanks to everyone who's gotten a copy so far. You can send me a comment when you buy it - lots of folks have used that to ask for an inscription on the CD tray card, and I love doing that ;)

What a weekend! I still can’t believe I won Primary Age Champion at the ANBC Regional Busking Championship in Stanthorpe.🎉

Huge thank you to the Stanthorpe Apple & Grape Harvest Festival organisers, the ANBC judges, Bendigo Community Bank, and everyone who stopped and cheer me on. You’ve truly made a little girl’s dream come true.❤️

I only expected a fun getaway with my family doing what I love - busking and performing - and it turned into something unforgettable. Feeling so grateful!
