Just a guy who’s been into Xtreme metal and part of the scene for over 15 years. It still suck to miss international bands I’ve listened to for years finally making it to India, but sometimes life has other plans. I try my best to show up for gigs in Kochi whenever I can. Missed Bangalore Open Air again this year, but maybe next time. If I get the chance, I’d give anything to be there. The last gig I travelled outside Kochi was for BOA back in 2018. Some things have been on hold since then, but my love for the music hasn’t changed. Until then, I’ll keep showing up for the scene here in Kochi, supporting it however I can. NO REMORSE, METAL TILL THE END OF TIME 🤘 #metalmusic #deathmetal #metalhead #heavymetal #rocknroll

Nicky. Rest Easy. Can’t still fathom this. I still think ki tu fakat me kidhar to baitha hai, phone off karke, aur kal call karega, “Kjo kidare? Monster energy leke gharpe aja” We met in 2009. 17 saal ho gaya bro. Barely any pictures. But Jallya and me Chai cutting, bun maska, choti gold flake, triple seat, blvck metal gang, Naidu ka Jamroom, legendary toons dj!, adamantium, college fests, Hyderabad [ragnhild-cruoris sammelan], percy ♥️, then that other cute pup, nibm ke ghar, leg pulling, fifa, bro mere budday pe kisiko lena dena nahi tha, tu mereko ghar pe bulakar party kiya, with out even asking. Fir those AFK wale gigs, unwind, ‘kp square’, bhai kya kya nahi kiya bro? Nikki, we had a conversation last night re, you couldn’t tell me you were going through something? How difficult was it to talk to me bro? You legit conquered all the demons in your life in such a badass fashion! Bhai ek bar nahi bol sakta tha? I know lavdu tu bolrae upar se, “Kjo, sunna, gand mara” BHADWE! Ye kya rula raha hai BC! 😭 Bro why!? Rest in Peace Lavdu! 😔 What in the Fuck! What do I make of this bro? 😩 Tereko bohot ganda miss karnewala hu me. Faltu me jaldi gaya tu! And yeah, the Indian Metal Scene has genuinely lost a gem today. He gave it all to make it happen. I’ve seen the man burn out just so that we all could have a ‘scene’ in poona to complain about. What does the metal scene feel like in your city? For those from Kochi, Trivandrum, Calicut, Thrissur, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi or anywhere else, how would you describe your scene? Is it the same kind of chaos? Is the energy different? What makes your city's metal community unique? Tell us. We want to hear from the people who live the scene. This is not just about Kochi. It’s about understanding the many faces of the underground. #malayalammetal #kochimetalscene #keralametalscene #indianmetal #metalunderground #metalcommunity
