October 1st 2026 a day I will always remember! I’m embarking on a new journey… 🎶✨ Music has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. But for the longest time, I had a deep desire to create my own sounds but actually making music felt impossible to me. And then I decided to stop believing that. I started teaching myself. Playing. Experimenting. Getting frustrated. Spent hours on trial and error. Getting excited. Making weird sounds 😂 and slowly learning how to turn what I feel inside into music. Today feels especially meaningful because I’m stepping into a new chapter of that journey, entering a music production container with some of my favorite bass artists and producers, where I’ll be learning how to create my own sounds and develop my voice as a producer. And for me, this goes so much deeper than making tracks. I want to create music that MOVES people. Music for Ecstatic Dance. Music for movement. Music that helps us release what we’ve been holding. Music for meditation. Music that transforms energy into creative life force, joy, freedom and ECSTASY. Music to make us make BASS face🔥LOL I have so much to learn, and that’s exactly what excites me and scares me. Here’s to being a beginner again. To doing the things we once thought were impossible. And to following the sounds that keep calling us. 🌀🎶 This is just the beginning. 💝🎉💕 And a HUGE shoutout to @ancientfuturecollective and the incredible artists I get to learn from during this next chapter. 🙏🏼🎶🔥 To @savejlife @saturnasound @chmuramusic @HABITAAT @Mfinity, @mahzetar @iyakuh I’m beyond excited and grateful to step into this container and learn from artists whose music and creativity genuinely inspire me. Over the last few weeks, I trained custom audio analysis models on my own catalog and the way my brain compartmentalizes stems so the engine hears music the way a producer hears it. That’s what finally got the synesthesia feeling right 👽

It’s in private beta now but I can’t fuggin wait to let y’all create with it. Too fun y’all. Also building a full Savej audiovisual show on the same engines, mapped to my MIDI controllers, so I’m controlling the organisms DNA live. My trip to Costa Rica in February holds such a special place in my heart. I went to Envision Festival, which is my favorite festival I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a number of festivals at this point. This festival was amazingly aligned in so many ways for me. From the workshops during the day to the incredible music sets at night, the experience was a balance of learning and playing. I was blessed to have so many of my friends at this festival, and I made many new friends while I was there. The @ancientfuturecollective had an epic tent with incredible workshops put on by my Swamp Tribe family. I got to meet my permaculture teachers from @ecoversity, Stephen Brooks and Penny Livingston. I swam in the ocean and explored the rainforest between events and there was an abundance of delicious fresh tropical fruit and warm sunshine. It was a spectacularly beautiful way to transition into spring and I intend on going every year it occurs!

Where do I even begin? @bigdubfestival holds a special place in my heart. This was my fourth time attending, but my first time playing, the last time I was here was 2023. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share my music and craft with everyone. I can’t tell you how much it meant to have friends, family, and loved ones there to support me. My first set, I opened with a Bob Marley quote about how his richness is life and this whole experience truly reflected how I want to live: surrounded by close friends and beautiful people. One of the most special parts was seeing the growth since 2023, watching my wife, Karly, walk around ten times more confident than she was back then. It’s a reflection of our relationship and everything we’ve grown through together. This past year has been difficult but also beautiful. As some of you know from my last album, Conception, we’ve been trying to have kids. Right before the album released, we found out we were pregnant. The excitement was so high, it felt like we’d done something special. A few months later, we lost our child to a miscarriage. So seeing my wife walk around confident and happy, even though life has been hard lately, means everything. I’m just grateful to be surrounded by such loving, supportive people. I couldn’t have done this without my wife, my family, the @ancientfuturecollective , and all of my close friends. Thank you so much, Big Dub, for having me. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to play the main stage. It didn’t really set in until I was watching @mersiv perform and my friend leaned over and said, “I can’t believe you played on that stage.” It’s been a dream come true. I’ve worked so hard the past two years to make this project come to life, and it finally feels like it’s gaining traction. Thank you all for your love and support, and for believing in this. Thank you @ofthetreesmusic for the perfect open track. I can’t wait to share more music with you. @bigdubfestival gently reminded me of my biggest weakness, that I need to ask for help more. Life is a collab not a competition. Looking forward to collaborating with you all, love you. Peace. 🕊️
