Sometimes meeting her is not the beginning of a love story.

It is the beginning of an awakening.

Because some connections illuminate everything we have spent a lifetime avoiding.

The fear.
The conditioning.
The armour.
The wounds.
The parts of ourselves we buried simply to survive.

And when that recognition becomes too confronting, there are two choices.

Run… or rise.

Rise into what the connection is asking you to face.

Or run from it and take the longer road.

But here is the truth we don’t often talk about:

Not everyone who runs eventually rises.

Some will spend a lifetime running.

They may change the relationship, the circumstances, even the life around them and believe they have moved forward.

But until we are willing to descend into our shadows and the deepest oceans of our soul, we can spend our entire lives avoiding the one person we were always being called to meet:

ourselves.

Because eventually you realise the connection was never simply about her.

She was the mirror.
The catalyst.
The activation.

The journey was calling you towards the highest expression of you.

Towards the wounds asking to be healed.
The truth asking to be acknowledged.
The heart asking to be opened.
The soul asking to be remembered.

She cannot make that journey for you.

And running from her does not necessarily mean you have escaped what her presence awakened within you.

You still have to choose whether you will answer it.

Because we cannot truly meet another in the depths we are unwilling to meet ourselves.

But if one day you stop running…

If you become willing to enter those depths, face what lives there and remember who you were beneath everything you learned to be…

the journey may finally lead you home.

First, to yourself.

And perhaps…

back to the soul who reminded you there was somewhere deeper to go.

« Nous prenons tellement de notre vie à rêver.

Certains rêves viennent pendant que nous dormons.

D’autres restent avec nous longtemps après notre réveil, devenant des versions de nous-mêmes que nous n’avons pas encore rencontrées.

Peut-être que les rêves ne sont pas seulement des mondes imaginaires, peut-être rappellent-t-ils ce qui est vraiment possible.

Ce court métrage a pris 3 jours de tournage, d’innombrables imprévus et d’innombrables heures de descente à 15 mètres ; encore et encore, sans masque, incapable de voir, faisant une totale confiance à mon instinct et aux gens autour de moi.
