Seven days. That’s all it took for Norway to steal another piece of our hearts — and our dry socks. This year, she welcomed us with rain. Not the gentle kind you write poems about, but the kind that decides to test every layer of your jacket and every bit of your patience. Plans shifted, trails turned into rivers, waterfalls appeared where there shouldn’t be any… and yet, not a single complaint.

Because when you have the right people by your side, even a hike through a downpour becomes a story worth telling. We walked together — some faster, some slower — but always as one team. We cooked together in our little evening “villages,” laughed about the weather, and celebrated every rare, golden glimpse of the sun as if it was a long-lost friend. And when the rain returned, we almost missed it. Almost.

There were moments that will stick forever: the boat rides through the fjords, slicing through still water surrounded by cliffs and clouds, with that quiet awe you can only feel in places like this. The feeling of working together up a muddy trail, cheering each other on when the wind picked up. The comfort of knowing that even when you’re soaked to the bone, you’re not alone.

And that’s the thing — people are the heart of any journey. Landscapes can be breathtaking, but it’s the laughter, the teamwork, the shared “remember when…” moments that make a trip unforgettable.

Norway gave us her raw, untamed self — and we embraced it. I’m endlessly grateful to everyone who trusted me with this adventure, for your spirit, your smiles, and for making this rainy week one of the brightest. Until next time, tusen takk, Norway.

Madeira was exactly what it always is — wild, unpredictable, steep, green, and somehow still able to surprise, even if you’ve been there once, twice, or five times before. We had everything: sun, wind, ocean, clouds that wrapped around your shoulders like a blanket. And even when it felt like the whole world had already discovered the island — we still managed to find silence, space, and that feeling that the world is once again wide and open.

It was loud. It was funny. It was wet. It was high. And sometimes a bit scary. And then funny again.
We jumped into canyons, crawled uphill, collapsed on the ground pretending we’d never do this again — only to ask, ten minutes later, “So what’s the plan for tomorrow?”

Now, let’s talk about what actually matters — the people.
Huge thanks to those who patiently handle my “just one more minute,” which usually means at least five. To those who calmly wait while I “quickly” launch the drone — and then wait again because “the view is just too good not to film.” To those who kept going even when their legs clearly filed for resignation — and somehow still laughed.

This was both a romantic trip for the soul and an adventure with an amazing crew. And maybe that’s exactly why it felt just right.
