Our editor tried to regulate a mechanical movement. He admits he failed miserably.

At Geneva Watch Days, COSC invited visitors to take on the Calibership Challenge. The winner was theoretical cosmologist Katie Mack, who finished with an average rate of +0.77 seconds per day after a 15-day test, well beyond the COSC Excellence standard.

Audemars Piguet Contemporary and the Hayward Gallery commissioned Swiss artist Renée Levi to paint the gallery’s brutalist façade. The result, a large-scale public painting called September, is her first large-scale public installation in the UK. On view until November 15.

This week's Letter, Anders Modig Davin.

Vacheron Constantin celebrates 30 years of Overseas, which has never sought to be the most radical of high-end sports watches, but the most versatile. Across two generations and with the continuous evolution of its models driven by innovation and wearer comfort, Overseas has seen its desirability soar since the beginning of the 2020s. This Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Azur is a limited edition of 200 pieces featuring an unprecedented combination of white gold and an azure blue dial.
