A few of the amazing models featured at @biglobalofficial's BIG Fashion Show at LFW!

Each model wowed the catwalk with some amazing pieces from many fabulous designers.

The collaboration between the model and designer is what is truly so important in the fashion world.

The ability to be able to see a designer's image brought to life is such a privilege.

We are so grateful to have been able to witness this in person and we cannot wait for the next event! ❤️

This comment came from a female graduate in her early 20s at the @britishbeautyweek industry event last week 😞

It highlights something we must remember and continue working to change: whilst many of us here may understand that ageing is a privilege, this understanding is far from universal. So many, particularly younger people, still associate ageing with decline, loss and limitation.

Why? Because ageing continues to be misunderstood, warped, othered and stigmatised. Just look at the word itself.

We talk about “ageing” as though it magically begins at 40, 50, 60 or beyond. Even public figures and celebrities often only start engaging with the topic once they reach a certain milestone.

But when we suggest you have to “qualify” to be ageing, we encourage people to disassociate themselves from a process they’re already experiencing.

We teach younger people to prevent ageing for as long as possible, despite the fact they’re already doing it, whilst making those who have finally “qualified” feel ashamed of the very thing we’ve been doing all along.

We attach fear and stigma to something normal, natural and lifelong because we only see a narrow, negative and incomplete picture.

It’s not that ageing is all wonderful. There’s light and shade at every age and stage of life. But we need to take the sting out of it.

That’s why we launched THIS IS AGEING: to flood social media with a more balanced, uplifting picture of ageing.

Something extraordinary happened on our runway last Friday. Neo Walk, Juno Bridal and Esh London came together to show the world what bridal fashion looks like when it is designed without limits. 🤍✨

Ten looks. Each one more breathtaking than the last.

A fiery red satin shantung corset gown with a dark grey ombré gem walking stick. A pink sequin mini dress hand-embroidered with moons and stars, paired with an emerald green bubble walking stick. A hot pink corset gown with a voluminous bubble hem skirt and a silver-to-pink ombré gem cane. A lime green sculpted mini dress with a dramatic train and a woodland birdhouse that lights up. A dreamy cloud-blue lace gown with a long train and a coffin-set Sky Blue Topaz choker.

Every Juno Bridal gown was paired with an Esh London silk choker adorned with precious and semi-precious stones, and a Neo Walk statement walking stick that turned a mobility aid into the most talked-about accessory on the runway.

Because bridal fashion should be for everyone. And on Friday, it was. 🤍
