🖤A love letter to my 20s.

There were so many days in my 20s when I didn’t think I would make it here, but somehow I did. I made it here surrounded by more love than my 20 year old self could have ever held in her hands, with a career I’m so incredibly grateful for, and with a growing love for myself that I never thought I would find.

Turning 30 doesn’t feel like the death of who I was in my 20; It feels more like a thank you to her. Thank you for pushing through when the days got hard, for believing in herself when believing in the bad things felt easier, and for continuing to move forward even when she had no idea where she was going. Thank you for opening her heart to love again, for finding her soulmate in this lifetime, for falling back in love with reading, creating, dreaming, and all of the little things that make life feel like life.

There is so much I wish I could tell that girl now. I wish I could tell her that the things she was so afraid of wouldn’t define her, that she would become someone she could be proud of, and that one day she would look back and realize just how much life was waiting for her.

Today I turned 30, and I feel more grateful than sad to close this chapter. My 20s gave me some of the hardest days of my life, but they also gave me some of the most beautiful ones. They gave me people I love, lessons I’ll carry forever, and a version of myself I fought really hard to become.

So here’s to 30, and to whatever comes next. I can’t wait for 40 year old me to look back and see who I became.

Happy 30th rotation around the sun to me, and to every human who loved me, supported me, believed in me, and helped me get here. I wouldn’t be this version of myself without you🖤

One day, my Art/Vision will be no more. It will fade, all the magical moments i sought to create, to tell a story even though it was probably fictitious in its creation, because i want people to feel a certain way, or remember a certain moment, that has also faded, and for the first time ever I can say, thats ok.

Its funny how that works, like a flower pressed dry and flat. Trying to make something last forever is a fools errand. Much like the flower, it will lose its fragrance, it will become brittle, it will become forgotten and when you see it again, someday, hopefully you realize that moment was so magical because it was in the moment, and its gone now. Photography, trying to make something last that was never meant too.

Somewhere between the stars and those forgotten moments theres a place for me….. @andieveronica #women #emotive #soon

Unfortunately, i still have a few loose ends i must tie up.

Looking back on this year, I think of all the times and moments I felt like not enough for my passion, for my career. I made so many new friendships this year through the creative community and made amazing work with old ones. To everyone who helped fill my cup this year, this is for you. Sometimes it feels like you haven’t done enough, but if you look back, I guarantee you left so much art and creation in your path. To 2025, year 10 of doing what I love, to many more to come.

I AM SO PROUD OF @andieveronica. Sleepless nights, crazy hours, tears got put into making this girl graduate nursing school today! All with a newborn, while being able to pull off a wedding in another country🌹i admire her dedication, work ethic, and love she has for her new career. Any patient she has is going to be lucky to have such a compassionate loving nurse by their bedside. You go mama👩🏻‍⚕️🏥🩺⚕️
