✨Feel so honoured to be featured in this months @lensandluxemagazine magazine for the “mother” edition✨

Recently I’ve been asked to be part of a few motherhood projects (@ladyfelisa & @lensandluxemagazine) and honestly, it means more to me than I can put into words, especially having some of my work selected for the “Mother” edition of Lens & Luxe Magazine.
Becoming a mum young and navigating single motherhood wasn’t easy for me. For a long time I felt a lot of pressure to be perfect, I felt like I didn’t belong, like I had to do everything “right” or by the book to be accepted or taken seriously.

But motherhood doesn’t come with a handbook. It isn’t about perfection or proving to everybody else what a good mother you are. It’s about unconditional love, growing alongside your child, learning as you go, and creating a life that feels safe, warm and full of love for them.

That’s why documenting these years means so much to me. These photographs aren’t for validation from the outside world, they’re for your children. So years from now, they can look back and see just how deeply loved they were from the very beginning 🤍
