WAIT WHAT?? Why the heck is there a profile shot of a middle aged woman on this pole dancing page?! She’s not even wearing any makeup!? 🤢 Look, it’s a great question, but stay with me and I’ll make it make sense. This is actually about doing things spontaneously and not overthinking it. So I took a pole class with my long-time friend @andre.afterdark yesterday. I was there because I needed to complete an instructor review with @amoreaerials. Andre and I were supposed to go out for lunch afterwards, but at the end of class he got a phone call from @thehillspiercingstudio saying his piercing appointment had been moved from 5:30pm to 2:30pm. So I naturally offered to take him to his piercing appointment. It’s the logical thing to do, right? Sure, but then I completely hijacked the entire thing and got my daith pierced. 😂 I had absolutely no plans to get pierced yesterday. None. But there I was. And it got me thinking about how much good stuff happens when you leave a little room in your life for curiosity. For wonder. For the occasional completely unexpected “fuck it, why not?” Sometimes the things that change how you feel about yourself start with nothing more complicated than saying yes. So if you’re free tomorrow, here is an invitation. Come into Stargazer with absolutely no expectation that you should already be strong, flexible, coordinated or know what the hell you’re doing. Just show up curious. Show up wondering: What if I’m capable of more than I ever knew? I reckon that’s bloody good question. Maybe tomorrow night is when you start finding out! Pole4Beginners Tomorrow, 7pm One-off long weekend class with Peachy Book your spot here: https://stargazer.gymmasteronline.com/portal/book/class/14 Don’t overthink it. Sometimes you just say YES. Xx @debzillah 😘

Today I fell in love with pole again. 🫶 I deeply love pole, my community, what it offers us, the embodiment, the empowerment, all of it. But, as a relationship of over 18 years goes, I’m not always IN LOVE with it. Today I was a student in @andre.afterdark’s INTERVANCE class and he held me in the sweet spot between challenge and success. It delighted me in a way that I’d almost forgotten. Thanks Andre for bringing your knowledge and skill to @stargazerpole 🫶 I felt included and equal in today’s class like I haven’t in a pole class in long time. It means so much to me xx

“I CAN DO HARD SH*T! 💪” - key takeaway from Saturday Bootcamp classes with @andre_poledancer Doing something challenging doesn’t need to be scary or negative: it can be so much fun! It’s why there’s a rainbow sign in the studio that literally says “WE CAN DO HARD THINGS.” But just so you feel comfy, I went along to class on Saturday and made this little vlog so you can see exactly what happens before you come along and try it for yourself! You’ll sweat. 😓 You’ll work. There’ll be a moment where your brain says “absolutely not” and Andre says “actually, yes.” 😂 And then it’s over. There’s an honest review at the end, and doesn’t starting your weekend feeling all of THIS sound pretty awesome? ✨ Accomplished. ✨ Challenged. ✨ Energised. ✨ Strong. ✨ ALIVE. Try it and find out! Come get strong with us, #Blacktown! 🙌
