How I knew I found my soulmate. Junior year started, I had music class with this kid whos name I couldn’t remember. I had a big crush on him, but I never acted on it. My class got changed and I didn’t get to see him anymore. Early 2015 my best friend had class with him. I would skip my study hall to go hangout with her and that’s when andre and I actually started to become friends. The first day I skipped to go to her class, was the first time andre told my best friend I was beautiful. Alexis slipped him my phone number, couple weeks later, we started dating March 17, 2015. So when I went to go look up andre on Facebook to add him.. We were already friends.. since March 2011! I thought it was the funniest thing ever LOL! Later on I had to message him on Facebook because my phone was broken, to find we had also sent messages in 2011! We’ve went to the same schools since elementary, his brother was in my 4th grade class! The funny part is we both have no memory of each other until junior year. We’ve always been by each other our whole life’s, but we never met until the timing was just right. And when we met it felt as if we’ve known each other forever. Because we have, our souls have known each other for lifetimes. When you think of a perfect relationship, you never think of the hard times. But the truth is, in a perfect relationship their will be the hardest of times. You have to go through struggles to become stronger as a couple, to grow. The perfect relationship will test you, push you past your comfort zone. This is to only make the relationship stronger. If something isn’t helping you grow and become a better person, it’s pointless. “Many of us lose out on being in a healthy loving relationship full of growth and development because we're constantly told how it should look. We're obsessed with the fluff and fairy tales but most healthy loving relationships weren't always healthy and loving. Growth was required. Nobody comes pre-installed with the ability to love you the way you need to be loved. In most cases we learn as we go. Hell in most cases our partners are still learning how to love themselves. Let's be real here. ↓
