Sometimes it’s easy to take what we see for what it is. But when no one else is watching, are we still just as happy, just as confident, just as admired?
Or is it possible that we love we get amounts to the duration of reel/or a tok

A tribute to my time in Shanghai. 🥺✨❤️

Biggest appreciation to the kindest management for supporting me throughout my stay, my pregnancy and maternity journey. As a working actor, I didn’t feel judged nor pressured. Best thing was my managers were mostly moms who welcomed me with open arms. I’m forever grateful not only for the trust and opportunity but the support and the genuine relationship built. 🥹🙏🏼

First trimester was so challenging to me, I could barely eat nor function. My partner and my family couldn’t be there at the time. I felt so depressed and helpless. This flat and this pillow were my main comfort. Looking back, things were so sad but I’m still so grateful for the safe space I had.

PS I loved binging GINNY and GEORGIA and ofcourse Grey’s Anatomy

So much love goes to the best track mates I could’ve ever asked for. I will never forget how these girls gave me so much love and kindness while I wait for my partner and family to come. My baby and I wouldn’t be thriving right now if it weren’t for you too!!! Thank you girls. Honoured to have sang with you. 💖🌺

Shoutout to this blonde because I completely forgot I had it 😂

Weekend trip in Xi’an. Here’s Day 1!

Our first day was the perfect mix of history, culture, and amazing food.

📍 Clock Tower Community
🏮 Muslim Quarter
🏛️ Gao’s Grand Courtyard
🎭 Traditional Shadow Puppetry at Gao’s Grand Courtyard
🍢 Xi’an-style BBQ
🍸 INX Bar
🌙 Late-night BBQ & street snacks at Huancheng South Road

One of my favorite parts of the day was the shadow puppetry performance. After the show, guests were invited to try operating the puppets themselves, making the experience even more memorable.

Of course, no trip to Xi’an is complete without eating! We enjoyed authentic Biáng Biáng noodles (𰻞𰻞面), Yānxūn Ròu Jiābǐng (烟熏肉夹饼), and ended the night with BBQ and street snacks before calling it a day.

Excited to share our Day 2 already with my good friend @andreadawnsomera 🎉✨🫶🏼

Shoutout to our friend and wonderful host Casper and Tim! You guys gave us such a wonderful experience! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Feeling incredibly grateful to have visited the Terracotta Warriors for the first time. Seeing this remarkable piece of history in person was an experience I won’t forget. Discovering this place with my mahal @andreadawnsomera made it even more special! 👩🏻‍🐰‍👩🏽🥹

Did you know that no two Terracotta Warriors are exactly alike? Each one has unique facial features 🤯

It’s the last week of AAPI Heritage month! How have you been celebrating?

At @onthissideoftheworld , we celebrate the “fiesta state of mind”: the indomitable, infectious Filipino spirit that has kept us going through centuries of trials. This same spirit keeps us going today —whatever we face, and wherever we are.

“We’ll get through each day
and it’s thanks to the way
in which we Filipinos are designed —
with a fiesta state of mind!”

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! 💐

Today we think in a special way of immigrant mothers. Here’s to the complexities and challenges of raising a child in a strange and different culture. Here’s to perspectives that are generations apart, and quite literally worlds apart. And here’s to the changes, the realizations, and ultimately the gratitude that make these bonds unique and special.

Is your mom is an immigrant? Then give her an extra big hug today. 🥰

And, share “My Mother Is an Immigrant” from @onthissideoftheworld with your mom! 🇵🇭🎵✈️🎵🇺🇸 Find it on Spotify, Apple Music or your favorite streaming platform.
