HODG shows up for clean air!!! We are here right now at the Air Quality Management to encourage the commission to pass a rule about industrial boilers and water heaters.

These are major sources of emissions that are hidden in plain sight. We’re talking about industrial processes, but also swimming pool heaters. Tackling industrial equipment is key to addressing one quarter of our greenhouse gas emissions. The last rule on this stuff is from 1998. Heat pump technology has progressed to the point that we no longer have to burn methane to run this equipment. The rule would cover more than a million pieces of equipment and would take 5.6 tons of lung-searing Nitrogen Oxide out of Southern California’s air every day. That’s the equivalent of taking half of the gas-powered cars off of Southern California roads.

22 years ago today I moved to #LA from #Boston. Hard to believe it’s been so long. If it wasn’t for @joycecastagnola believing in me & moving me out here to work for Dreamworks Records, life would be on a different course. #restinpeace #Joyce. So much love to you from so many. You are missed massively, and that’s a gargantuan understatement!!
It was here in LA I was exposed to and dove into #yoga as a practice, which turned into teaching. Wow what a continual freakin gift. It was here my career in the #music business has blossomed and expanded in ways I could never have imagined. I’m #grateful to still have so many dear friends and family in the Boston area. I have also been blessed to meet so many incredible people, dear friends, mentors, musicians + inspirations here in LA. And that has bled into an incredible community and playing in a spectacular band with dear friends in NorCal as well. Never thought I’d joyfully be driving up and back 5 hrs to rehearse and play shows on the regular, but bring it. Come to think of it, that 1st #NorCal connect I made happened in April too. Another of my dearest friends. April has always seemed to be a month of transition and growth for me, and this year is proving no different. I’m looking forward to the future with #gratitude, (attempted 🤷🏽‍♂️) #humility, #appreciation, #excitement, and #wonder. Sometimes a lot of wonder!😎 Here’s to all that is next. Thanks for reading 🙏🏽
