Stevie Nicks; Sir; Prince; Mister Stevie; Cheeky… but most of all the most miraculous beautiful soul anyone could ever wish to have known.

It pains me so much to say that Stevie’s life with us has come to such an untimely end. Stevie was my everything. From waking me up every morning at 5AM because he wanted food by comically knocking everything on my bedside table until I woke up, enjoying walks on a harness out the front in the trees, disturbing my teams meetings by walking across the screen, scaring my staffy by hiding in cardboard boxes and jumping out, following me to the toilet and pretty much everywhere I went, coming to greet me when I got home by jumping out of windows meowing, following me to the shower and cleaning himself as he waited becoming my little sidekick…

Stevie certainly lived up to his namesake… a true legend, memorable, a rockstar.

So, i’m writing this with tears in my eyes and a heavy soul, sat looking longingly at my beautiful precious prince’s catio, the sun is shining with a sky so blue, imaging how much Stevie would have loved to be outside, running back and forth tormenting birds from a distance and basking in this glorious sunshine.

Stevie, was taken far too soon. To not even see his third birthday is so very cruel. But in the end he let us know it was time to go. Stevie has left the biggest paw print shaped hole.

Thank you so very much to @theralphvetreferralcentre in particular the incredible Hannah, for always being his biggest cheerleader. Hannah and the team championed Stevie and his tricky case right until the end, always working tirelessly to ensure he got the best care and treatment. They were a voice for my little hero. Stevie defied the odds, showed true resilience, strength, determination and defiance right up until the end. Thank you so much @vetinternalmedicinenursing for being there right until the end and giving him the most dignified goodbye, calling him Sir and holding his paw. I’ll never forget the kindness from everyone at The Ralph to my beautiful boy and the endless amounts of lick-e-lix!

I will love you forever, Mr. Nicks. Forever.

⭐️ A little cautiously pawsitive update ⭐️

Mum & Grandma visited me today at @theralphvetreferralcentre where I’m currently very doped up on painkillers and all the good stuff… I’m currently being such a menace they can’t check my blood levels however, I am very bouncy. We are not out of the woods, but I am glad I’m feeling ok today.

Please keep me in your thoughts. 🩵

A good news story for Christmas & the end of the week 🌟💫 with a huge special thanks to @theralphvetreferralcentre ♥️

I’ve been very poorly since the beginning of summer this year, being diagnosed with PIMA which is a type of anaemia (pre-cursor targeted immune-mediated anaemia) where any new red blood cells are attacked and thus meaning I become very lethargic, pale & my appetite is reduced & my breathing is laboured. I’ve never been in pain, but it’s been very stressful and boring… over the summer I spent lengths of time in hospital where they tried to make me better with having 11 blood transfusions (one being dog blood!!!) and trying lots of immunosuppressive medication. I’ve built up a bit of a fan base as they know me so well now…

Well on Wednesday I went for my PCV (packed cell volume) check-up and my mum @ak_phi3 & Hannah (Internal Medicine) and the Internal Med staff were blown away… 30%!! At my worst, it was 5% with little hope of recovery… it’s been increasing, decreasing, increasing, decreasing and then remaining steady in the teens for a while… this is such an improvement and I’m almost like a regular cat (think Mean Girls “cool mom” quote😂)

It’s a Christmas miracle and I feel so good these days. I’m still a fusspot with my food but it’s because I am oh so spoilt… I like steak and any food with beef in but I like to change it up a bit. I’m an indoor cat but my mum takes me out for 20 minute walks in the garden every day where I love to chase things and run around (couldn’t have imagined doing that months ago ever) and I recently had just the best time in the snow ❄️! I love to annoy my sister Roxy (she’s a Staffordshire bull-terrier). I’m still scared of new people but I put that down to being a rescue! I love chasing laser lights and playing with my toy ferret from @petsathomeuk and playing in boxes from the pet shop more than I like any other toys…

I’m alive
I’m thriving
My story isn’t over yet
This is my health journey 🌟

Merry Christmas everyone ❤️

🌟 Wow 🌟

Flashback to over a year ago when I first met my new family!

I was found in a body of water when I was only wee, and my name was originally Moses by the lady who found me! I was then taken in by the amazing Next Chapter Animal Rescue and I was fostered by a lovely lady ♥️

It was then in October 2021 that I was adopted by my mummy and family ♥️ it’s been a whirlwind since then and I’ve been quite poorly… but I still love life and love to play when I’m well!
