Your new cartons are ready! A design I drew of our favorite rooster, Lars, surrounded by marigolds, mint, calendula, sage, chamomile, wheat, and alfalfa flowers. Can’t wait to share them on our next egg drop 🙌🏻 and this time, produce begins to be added with your order! We will be posting what’s available to add soon 🫜🍒🥬🍉🫑🥕🍈🍋🥒

We wanted to post a video of how happy our hens are to be actually pasture raised. The rolling hills on our farm are the perfect landscape providing our flock with nutrient dense grasses, plants, and insects to forage year-round along with plenty of exercise and sunshine.
After watching “You Are What You Eat”(attached video clip in second slide), I had a realization that we should take that notion another step further and say, “You are what you eat, eats”. Especially when it comes to eggs.
“Cage-free” or “free range” eggs come from cooped up, commercially farmed hens, never getting a chance to graze outside as nature intended. The results are pale yolked, bland flavored eggs lacking the nutritional value of pasture raised hens. And although it is true that yolk color will vary by season, as different varieties of plants to forage are available at different times of the year, the one thing that will remain constant is the nutrient dense quality of our eggs. When it comes time to supplement feed our flock, we share our organically grown fruits, veggies and dark leafy greens from the garden. We use only the highest quality, non-GMO feed that we ferment to provide probiotic mix that facilitates vitamin and mineral assimilation in our hens. The result is a happy and healthy flock laying delicious, nutrient rich eggs. 🥚

🤍🖤❤️ 15 Years Later… I Still Carry You With Me ❤️🖤🤍

For someone who never thought she would get tattoos… this journey started the day I lost my dad. What began as one became a tradition — a way to remember, heal, and carry the people I love with me.

This year marks 15 years since losing him, and this tattoo may be one of my most meaningful yet. It carries the names of my three children — my why, my purpose, and my greatest blessings. Being their mom is the greatest honor of my life. 🤍

It also includes my dad’s anniversary and two koi fish — black and red.

🖤 Black symbolizes the struggles and strength it takes to overcome them.
❤️ Red symbolizes love, family, and passion.

Together they represent harmony in life — the balance between grief and gratitude, pain and love.

I miss my dad every day. His birthday and anniversary are always heavy as May approaches every year but I do my best to celebrate his life and continue living the lessons he taught me.

If you knew my father, you knew kindness. He helped everyone he could, even when he had little himself.

Dad… I love you, I miss you, and I carry you with me every day.

For those who knew him, please say a prayer for him today 🙏

THANK YOU @deepseastattoo @andrearevenant I loved every moment of this experience (maybe not the pain lol)😝
