On January 2nd, I made a decision: f_ck it, I’m going to Cape Town. No plans, no deadlines. Just three months of chasing a spirit bigger than algorithms, bigger than expectations — something that promised new horizons if I was brave enough to follow it.

I packed two suitcases. One filled with the basics — clothes, a toothbrush, a half-assed idea of how warm Cape Town actually is. The second suitcase was the real one: music gear, camera equipment, and a naïve hunger for something real.

What happened next wasn’t some tourist cliché. It was a full-blown life reset. I stopped thinking about how things should look on Instagram, or how many likes my next track might pull. I started chasing the only thing that ever mattered: the dream itself.

Cape Town didn’t just welcome me — it cracked me open. There’s a tribal force living in the bones of this city, a heartbeat you feel the second you stop pretending and start listening. I remembered that making music isn’t about branding or metrics — it’s about a raw, primal energy we’re all born with. And once you hear it again, you can’t unhear it.

I found people who got it. Real ones. Together, we built a band out of thin air, sweat, and pure intention. Music became a conversation again — intimate, messy, vital.

Massive love to Jarid, Cory, and Matt — brothers in this wild little resurrection. You made it real.
