Had a really beautiful day yesterday, I got to sing with The Heritage Gospel Chorale directed by my friend and mentor Dr Herbert VRP Jones and we were honoring Pastor Andrew Jackson and his wife Reverend Helen Jackson of @cubmpittsburgh at Webster Ave Missionary Alliance Church. Our next concert will be as part of @letfreedomsingpittsburgh for Dr King Day! May the divine hold you in love and protection my friends. #gospel #pittsburgh #pittsburghmusic #community #hilldistrict #websteravemissionsary

Amidst a moment of stalemate in cinematic postproduction productivity, creative catharsis manifested in remembering and reconnecting to my first love in the arts, drawing.
🎬💻🎨
The same way a composer finds the next stanza while drilling scales at the piano, or a dancer finds the next phrase while practicing technique at barre, I chose to illustrate certain objects over and over, utilizing only paper, pen and ink.
🎼🩰🖊️
In this cognitive space, I work solutions out while sketching something else. Essentially, I forge, force, and find connections by going back to the basics while simultaneously remaining actively creative.
