No final dei um rolê de com os dois coletivos de meninas skatistas de El Salvador. O país é pequeno e a essência do skate é gigante. Testemunhei a força da união das mulheres em situações felizes, como uma sessão cheia de manobras e novos drops, mas também presenciei uma fratura terrível no bowl, na qual precisamos lidar com diversos desafios em relação a falta de um sistema de saúde pública que funciona. As meninas daqui são muito inspiradoras, a energia e o entusiasmo delas é muito animador. Os diferentes tipos de skate, estilos e manobras não as separavam, no entanto, serviam como uma forma para que eles trocassem suas experiências entre elas. Tive uma satisfação tão grande em estar aqui conhecendo cada uma, servindo de apoio para cada mulher skatista que leva em seu espírito as maiores qualidades que o skate e a união das mulheres nos ensina: irmandade, empatia, coletividade e amizade.

El año pasado me había propuesto pintar una piscina y este año termine pintando mi bowl favorito en El Zonte.

Fueron dos días llenos de mucho arte, amistad y aprendizaje, gracias mil a todos los que pasaron a saludar y a compartir con nosotros.

Que honor crear arte con ustedes, gracias por invitarme a dejar un poquito de mi en el lugar que mas amo 🤍 @lamolisha @amarquezart aprendí mucho de dos grandes.

✹ MEET THE ARTIST
Hola hola 👋 I never introduced myself before and I just want my community to get to know me a little bit more so here it goes:

1. My name is Andrea :) and I’m 28 years old.

2. I’m an Artist and Graphic Designer from El Salvador 🇸🇻 currently living in El Sunzal a beautiful surfing spot from the coastline.

3. Besides creating brandings I also do murals and illustration.

4. I loveee skateboarding, surf and practice yoga, sports are a huge part of my life, also love photography and making desserts 😋

5. My car is a 25 years old Toyota that belonged to my grandfather 🤍

6. I have a group of skater girls in El Zonte @namaskateclub (if you are in El Salvador hit me up)

7. I recently discovered that I have an obsession with plants my room/studio is starting to feel like a jungle.

8. A few of my favorite bands are: Pappo’s Blues, The Beatles, The doors, Sublime, The Rolling Stones and The Bee Gees.

9. I’m learning to play the ukelele.

10. Number 9 is actually false 😂 I have an ukelele since last year and barely know 3 songs I always say I’m starting and never do, but is definitely on my to do’s list 🙈
