June SOAR Wrap!

I never post on here anymore, but I figured since it was wrapping, I’d give the latter of you a look into what I’ve been up to since moving to the States. For the past seven months, I’ve spent hours training to become a Spartan Orientation Staff for the school year 26-27, our task was to be the orientation leaders for the class of 2030 first year students.

It was one of the most gratifying and rewarding experiences of my life. The stories I heard and the lessons I learned were a big part of why I continued to push through. They were long days and tiring nights. I am in awe of how forever changed I am by the experience. Not all of my students were included in this, but I stand to say that I love every single one of them they were such sweethearts with a great passion and a relentless drive to succeed and to be great. I’m glad to have been part of their journey. I’m excited to see what the future Spartans have in store for us.

To my fellow SOS’s, these are lovely group of 24 people were a fundamental part of my success in this experience. I would not have been able to go through my summer without them. I’ve learned from them and changed for the better in many different ways. I am a mosaic of all these people and without them, I would not be the person who I am today. I’m glad to have met them and I’m glad that I spent my time as an SOS with them.

It has been rough since moving here, but I’ve met so many friends and people who I consider now my family. Special mention to that dance that I had to do every single morning every single session if you had told me three years ago that I had to do that, and I was willing to do that I would’ve laughed at your face. For reference, I probably will never post here again until 5 years later, but for now, here’s my proof of life.

im ngl this was my best summer yet (ill post more on spam lol)

peep the Herencia and Barkada plug, also special mention my first at the G pin that I got during my SOAR two years ago full circle moment because now I’m an SOS and I’m still rocking the pin
