Just one of the beautiful hidden caves in Sedona, Arizona.

Hike Length: Roughly 1.25 miles (2.5 miles round trip)

Notes:
-The parking lot for the trailhead is free, but it’s small so it is recommended to get there early.
-The cave is visible from the trailhead, but as you hike in it becomes harder to see. There is also no marked trail leading to the cave, so it is more difficult to reach than you would think. Since this trail isn’t highly trafficked make sure to look out for snakes. Once you reach the base of the cave you will have to climb/scramble up the slick rock to get into the cave. This part can be difficult and dangerous especially if you don’t have experience with climbing. Do not attempt the climb if it is above your skill level, and remember that if you climb up you will have to come back down which will be more difficult. Make sure you are prepared for the hike with plenty of water and proper footwear, as well as some type of navigation device incase you get lost trying to find the cave.
-Pack out more than you pack in, it’s our job to keep these beautiful areas clean. Always follow good Leave No Trace principles when in the outdoors.
