Semester 1 ✅
Reflecting back on this semester I feel like I have a lot to say.
College is not at all like the movies and even though some may have had that experience, I surly did not. I am forever grateful for the experiences that I have had in college though, instead of finding a large group of friends I found one really good friend. I am so grateful for Julia, for she is someone I can be myself around 100% of the time and will always be someone in my corner.
Don’t get me wrong I have had fun and all but over coming social boundaries wasn’t apart of my original agenda. I have learned so much over this semester about people and how quickly they can switch on a dime.
The feelings of loneliness were persistent almost 100% of the time but like a solider I keep marching through.
I love college and I love Wartburg and I am so excited to see that the future has in hold for me 💕 But in the end I am finding the people I can hold on to because that’s all that really matters in the end

November, shorter days, colder nights, and thankful feeling. Thankful for warmth, thankful for food, thankful for friends who are there in every spirit. Thankful for family though far with the thought that I’ll be home soon enough.
