LYRICS:
I’ve climbed many mountains, but I’ve never seen the top

Sailed through many waters, but I’ve never learned to swim

I’m in love with every sunrise, but afraid to go outside

Oh, I’ve made some good decisions
But I’ve fallen far behind
I’ve knocked on every door
There is no one left inside
It’s just never quite my time, I guess sitting on the side will be just fine

When I have children, what will they think?
Of a mother who is “happy” watching from the lines
I hope that they would know I’d never love them from the side

I’d tell them that “A life of good decisions,
you can still fall far behind. Better knock on every door,
even if no one’s left inside. It will always be your time,
I guess sitting on the side is what I like”

I gave myself to people, who could never seem to love
But then I’d saw you love me, I had never passed you by

You knew just where to find me, I was always in your light

You told me that “I’ll never understand, why you always want to hide.

I want to see you shine but I will never ask you why. I will always find the time, to sit with you aside if you like. Cos sitting on the side is still a life”

Sitting On The Side official music video out October 9th.

This marks my first ever music video, thank you so much for the already continued support of my music. This track from idea to recording to music video was all handled by really good friends and people I love dearly, I can’t wait for everyone to see their work. ❤️

"...a showcase of new music, unbeknownst to both audiences and the musicians on stage performing it, who bind hearts and minds together to perform new semi-improvised works, inspired by spirited grasps towards the intangible and the unknown, by the call that echoes into the endless void of potential, in the moment re-organized as sounds that ultimately form into...

DREAM|VALE's first iteration features Miles Cakebread-Kraus, Domonique Wade, Alex McPherson, Ben Rositsan, Audrey Mae, and Ezra Schell."
