Focusing on direction today-for our health, our family and our business. These days, my attention is pulled in so many directions that it is a bit overwhelming to see a clear path to anything. As a planner, this can feel really frustrating. Today, I am going to choose the direction of joy with a little less focus what that path looks like.

When floral meet fashion.

@isibealstudio @andrewjelliot and @meganmcnierney and I had a day of creating. It was phenomenal. From dark thick cloudy skies to the sun cascading in, we were able to play with light and shadows, lines, textures. We loved creating and capturing this @vogue look. - 💁🏽‍♂️👄✊🏽😎🔥 In the spirit of wanting to share stories of hope and joy, I asked my friends if they would be interested in joining my transformations project. These wonderful singers, dancers, musicians, and artists are all role models in their own right, but we spoke about how it could be fun to embody some Black icons and celebrate Black excellence. Black Lives Matter! #BLM
First up, Michael Humphrey, a gifted dancer, singer, and choreographer, whose work can be seen throughout Central Indiana. “I chose Beyoncé because she is a pioneer of black excellence and she influences people of color to own their power, work hard and to be FLAWLESS regardless of the pressures and stereotypes that are put on African Americans. She is sophisticated, educated and talented and that is something I strive to be everyday!“
