“You’re almost 50, what have you done with your life”. Recently asked by a person who’s raised me. Well…this is what “I have” fucking done! No one expects one of their children who they have carried in their womb to end their own life. But when they do, your entire life is turned upside down and the trajectory of your life changes! Because of @lovveaddictt @andrewlimbachh I am on this journey. Because of Andrew I see the world in a completely different way! Because of Andrew I want to be of service to those who suffer like he did, just like his amazing psychiatric team did for him. Because of him I want to shut the fuck and listen. Listen to the worries, the sadness, and the struggle of others. Because of him I want to “change the world”, just like he wanted to do! So yes, at almost 50, I’m NO WHERE near where I should be. But I am EXACTLY where I need to be, and where Andrew wants me to be!! Thank you to all who reached out with birthday wishes. At 47, I am the person that my beautiful boy, has led me to be! Orientation for parents and students is now complete.Tomorrow we have breakfast and we say our goodbye. Not looking forward to it, but I’m also so incredibly proud and excited for @rachel.limbach’s new adventure! This is EVERYTHING @lovveaddictt would have wanted for her, and for himself! Even preparing to take @rachel.limbach to college reminds us of the reality that has become our lives. Though excitement fils our hearts, sadness for everything Andrew is missing is very much present. I know that taking him with her, is something that will bring her comfort as she navigates life on her own. We miss you, kid. Keep an eye on her for us 🖤

Dear @lovveaddictt, thanks for lighting a fire under my ass and pushing me into one of the toughest journeys of my life. Though this accomplishment is complete, another one begins next month as I begin my masters program. Forever grateful for the men that have been able to give my boys the guidance, love and support, that as I single mom, I could have never replicated. To the teachers, mentors, coaches, the step baby daddy, uncles & grandfathers (blood related and not), that have touched their lives as father figures and role models, thank you. Happy Father’s Day to my beautiful sons that made me a cat grandma with their feline kids. 🖤

@lovveaddictt @andrewlimbachh introduced me to @euphoria during Covid, a year before his death. I binged the first season and I was mesmerized by the raw stories it told, that I knew my children’s generation was experiencing. Though to some it was disturbing and seemed outlandish, to me it was a real glimpse into Gen Z’s human experience. It’s very fitting that the very last episode, that Andrew was unable to watch, was about grief, and loss. Thank you Andrew. “Let his memory be a blessing. Amen”. I miss you. I love you. 🖤
