Announcing the arrival of Andrew Macari onto Moom with “Partie Times”, backed with two incredible remixes from Josh Gregg and Houston.

Andrew Macari is a name that carries real weight in the underground house scene. British-born, forty years deep, he came up through Nottingham’s club, sound-system and free-party scenes before
moving into production in the mid-90s — first as one half of Flow, then through Toka Project.

Since then his output has run through Deep South Playaz, Guided Methods, Paka Project, Greenbay Jackers and his own name, landing on labels like Viva Recordings, Large Music, Nordic Trax and Shaboom, while his own imprints — Greenhouse Recordings, Tastie Music, Jack Locker, Filter Flow and now Guava Recordings — have kept him equally busy behind the scenes.

He’s played Smart Bar Chicago, Centro-Fly New York, Deep LA, Ruby Skye, DNA Lounge and — a genuine first — was the first house DJ ever booked for the oOicial Grammy Awards party.

“Partie Times” marks a new chapter: after several years focused on studio work, Andrew returns with a deep well of new material and the same grooves that have defined him from the start — soul, funk, rhythm, house music, nothing more or less.

Joining him on the release are two remixers putting their own stamp on the track - Josh Gregg who’s Luv EP dropped right here on Moom in August, and Houston with his own Moom release coming very
soon…
