Fun filled day with repeat angler Olivia! We did an intro to fly fishing lesson a couple years ago and she’s back to test her skills! Action pretty much all day, with multiple species in the net! Great work Olivia! #flyfishing #texas #scientificanglers

7.71 on the hair bug! I’ve scooped a few river bass of this caliber over the past few years. They don’t come around often. Blessed to have finally gotten one for myself! #bassonthefly #hillcountryflyfishing #texasflyfishing #bassfishing #orvis

Shout out to @andrewmilliorn for the scoop!

Wrapping up an amazing weekend at the @trinityflyfest here in Fort Worth, Texas!

There’s nothing better than spending time on the banks of a river surrounded by friends, family, and fellow fly fishing enthusiasts. This year’s fest felt like a big family reunion—full of good laughs, incredible conversations, and plenty of time around the tying tables learning new flies.
We enjoyed some excellent speakers, picked up a few new techniques, and watched some seriously talented tiers at work. Even better, it’s one of those rare events that truly welcomes everyone—kids, beginners, seasoned anglers, and curious visitors alike.
Grateful for the community, the river, and a weekend well spent outdoors. Already looking forward to next year!

Fun days on the river lately with both clients and friends! Horst in the first photo had never fly fished before, caught his first bass on the fly here in Texas! My homie Julian rang the bell on a *NEW BOAT RECORD* with 10 Rio Grande Cichlids in one day, not a single one under 10”. He crushed em til the bitter end! LoCo trash bash with Bryan, Howler hat secured! Fun days ahead as the weather cools down, let’s get you on the water!

Our 2025 Oar Certification and Guide Training was a total success! Huge shoutout to our incredible students—their skill, growth, and dedication blew us away. From day one to final launch, they soaked up knowledge, pushed their limits, and truly earned their place on the water. We couldn’t be prouder of this crew!⁣

When you catch a few sunnies, miss a hook set on a monster bass, and have boat problems - but it’s all good bc it’s fun no matter what with a good fishing partner.
