The Tau Sigma Chapter of Beta Theta Pi, would like to announce that Brother, AJ Pioquinto (@andrewpioquinto), has won this semester's first "Beta of the Week!"

Background: AJ is a Junior from Gurney, Illinois!! Some say it is a pipeline of professional athletes, ranging from NFL, MLB, and in Aj's case, marathon runners!

Reason for Winning: AJ has been pushing his body to the extremes lately, David Goggins style! And while he works his way up to the ultra marathon, which involves running over 3100 miles (WOW😵‍💫), we want to recognize his efforts this past weekend. AJ ran his first marathon, last Saturday, and recorded a time 3:47:52, a personal best!!

A Note from Tau Sigma: Remember AJ, it's a marathon, not a sprint!! You're gonna do great things!

Last week we held our annual Beta BBQ, this year all proceeds went to Meals from the Heartland and we raised enough money to fund over 12,000 meals!

Thank you @ryanabogdan for this amazing event and @fasttwitchenergy for providing energy drinks

Keeping Up With The Betas. We’ve been busy, traveling the world, enjoying lake days, and late nights around a fire.
