A little bit of a 2025 recap ⏪

Grateful to have produced some really incredible stuff alongside such talented and hard working artists, musicians, collaborators, and team members 🩷🎧

At Spotify Music Studios, we produced so much amazing music, live performance, and video content, and just to name a few..
Anniversary- both Shakira and Erykah Badu reimagined iconic albums with us in our studios and made my childhood dreams come true.
Live performances- both outside in the wild and inside in our Live Room, GIVĒON, Olivia Dean, Leon Thomas, and sooo many more created beautiful and unforgettable live performances with us.
Countdown To- FKA twigs x Imogen Heap… Clipse x Jerry Lorenzo… Cardi x Kelly… the list goes on. Got to play a part in my favs collabing.
Spotify Singles- so much 🔥 came out of the studios with Sasha Keable, Lekan, Ravyn Lenae and so so sooo many more.

Also what’s life without some side quests? @umi_is_ put me and my gf on some billboards across the country!! Also produced “FIND A WAY” by Tay Iwar with some friends, performed with @maddyjdavis, and did some background vocals for @dj_dave____; solo vocal project coming soon obvi.

Of course no IG post can truly ever do this year justice and of this would be possible without the work of so many 💗 so grateful for you all (special s/o to @sarahpatellos @isabelle @auxillaryjack @taylorkernohan @elliot_eustis @audreyaleach)

To many many more in 2026!

A couple of years ago, I spent a few months filming @wizkidayo and his amazing family and team. From quiet family moments, all-nighter studio sessions, touring, to a packed Tottenham Stadium show - getting a front-row seat to his world during such a big moment was truly something special.

Thank you to @karam, @dmalikyar, @jada_p__, and @mgxcreative for the trust. It was a privilege to DP this project alongside an incredible team across multiple continents.

After years in the making, Wizkid: Long Live Lagos streams tonight on @hbo 🍿

Excited to share that MACRO’s original documentary, MUSIC BOX: WIZKID: LONG LIVE LAGOS, premieres December 11th at 9pm ET/PT on HBO and will also stream on HBO Max. As part of @BillSimmons’ acclaimed “Music Box” series, this film, directed and produced by @Karam Gill, tells the story of global superstar @Wizkidayo—tracking his rise from Lagos to the world stage.

Wizkid’s rise is not just about music-it’s about reclaiming identity, inspiring the next generation, and shifting global perceptions of Africa. From humble beginnings in Lagos to a historic, sold-out performance at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the film blends intimate moments, electrifying performances, and conversations with cultural icons like Femi Kuti, Jada Pollock, and more, offering a rare look at the man behind the movement.

We’re proud to partner with HBO Documentary Films, Ringer Films, MGX Creative, and the exceptional creative and producing teams who brought this vision to life - a celebration of legacy, pride, the unstoppable spirit of Lagos, and the global force of Afrobeats.
