Senior year really said “let’s do everything all at once,” didn’t it?

Moved into a new apartment and somehow made it feel like home between newsroom days and late-night deadlines. Passed on the crown of Miss Northwest Georgia to a sweet friend, while stepping into a new one as Miss Gwinnett County… and started prepping for my fourth run at Miss Georgia. Somewhere in the middle of it all, I fell in love with political reporting and the kind of storytelling that actually helps people understand the world around them. AND found my way back to dance again, which felt like coming home in a whole different way.

I started taking my health seriously (finally), began mentoring young women, built a team of women who care deeply about the next generation, and surrounded myself with the kind of like-minded women who make you better just by being in the room.

And casually… published a magazine and launched a podcast with some of the most incredible people I know. @avelinemagazine @hihellolabs @shebelievedshecould.co @sipsocial.agency

But if there’s one thing this year has been rooted in, it’s family. The constant. The steady. The reason I’ve been able to chase every opportunity, take every risk, and keep going even on the hard days. @michelearwood @laurenarwood @bill1arw @hinsonarwood
