Life as of lately, thankful for my friends and family who support me through this thing called life. I’m right where I need to be. Thank you Jesus for the opportunity to live out my dreams and to know my calling in this career and for what it entails.

@happylandingxo live at @radioroomgreenville on February 6th, 2025

I first got the chance to see Happy Landing back at Fall for Greenville in 2022, so it was awesome getting to catch them again a few years later!

In terms of social media presence, my time in Nashville has been nearly silent. I deleted the account I’d had since high school, the one that made me feel cool and popular. And I went without one for a while. And that was good for me.
Then I made this account with a whacky handle just to keep up with what my friends were doing, but I never really thought to post much. And that was good for me.
While I loved the life I was living, I never quite had anything to say or felt the need to show anything I was doing. A lot of it was mundane, and a lot of it was grand. But I still didn’t care to post. And that was good for me.
Having said that, it’s fun to update your friends. And it’s been several years since I updated my friends. So here’s what’s been going on lately:
I spent some time with forever friends.
I spent time with my family, though not nearly enough.
Saw some new parts of the country, including Wyoming, where mustaches are required by law.
Met Dax Shepard’s arms.
Picked up heavy objects (Who cares).
Played music with my buddies.
Went through a couple of tragedies.
Held Abbey for the last time.
Held Nellie for the first time.
And, very recently, became Catholic.
Some of these updates are pretty mundane. Some have changed my life. Either way, I’d like to start updating my friends again.
Because that is also good for me.
