I am but a wild animal
cut from its kind
If a bullet pierce through my skin
I'll just a flee. a flee
'till the pain and pang should dissapear

had reservations about including cycling in my itinerary to jakarta due my surgery a few months back. nonetheless, booked a bike through @rodalinkpondokindah - a polygon strattos 8d in size M - carbon bike with ultegra groupset and alloy wheels. coordination was smooth and prompt. if there's one thing i learned, last minute packing before a trip don't always work - i rode a few hours before the flight and totally forgot to bring my helmet and bike comp mount! it's a new lazer genesis helmet day courtesy of the missus and had to macgvyer a mount using a trashbag.

was supposed to meet a contact in jakarta for the ride on car-free sunday but due to unforeseen circumstances, wasn't able tox but was kindly linked up to @bkt.cc for their easy Sunday ride (ESR/1 june). it was nothing but easy for me - 42km route with rolling speed of mid to high 30s throughout in a pack much bigger than I'm accustomed to. mostly flat with some elevation consisting of flyovers. riding uninterrupted on the streets of a megalopolis with no traffic light stops amidst a buzz of passing vehicles was exhilarating and fun; i won't forget this cos i have never done this type of city riding. can you imagine how fast the riders of this proud city would be on smash rides? 🥶

thanks @bkt.cc, @andro_cello, @gedesatria for the warm hospitality. till we meet again. thank you Jakarta.
