Every October, the music goes somewhere else.

Most of us know someone. A mother, a friend, sometimes ourselves. This year again, we answer breast cancer the only way we know how: with music, and a dance floor.

On Friday 23.10, Various Artists 004 [SL013] comes out. Eight women producers, eight tracks for the cause. On Saturday 24.10, we open Village Underground Barcelona for thirteen hours. Every net euro from the record and the night goes to Europa Donna, the European Breast Cancer Coalition. Last year, you turned a compilation into 1237€.

@andromeda__dj will play in memory of a friend. @aundreja sends her love to everyone who has been through it. Thank you both for sharing something so personal.

Listen on Friday. Dance on Saturday.

What existed only as an idea is now something we have lived.

Thank you for stepping into METAXY001.

On Saturday night, we opened the door to a new world within our own for the very first time. Eight artists, two rooms and a space deliberately left undefined, shaped by everyone who chose to enter it.

What followed belonged entirely to those hours. Different sounds, different energies and different interpretations moving alongside one another, without ever needing to settle into one definition.

Thank you to the artists who brought our first edition to life: @andromeda__dj, @i.am.blanka, @chami_f2f, @_gloria__rose_, @lockhartsdj, @mona__sage, @norbak_hayes and @salome6_6.

And thank you to everyone who trusted us enough to step into something new.

The first crossing is complete.

METAXY will return.
