Wow wow wow. Still reeling from filling up @arlenesgrocery on my birthday 2 weeks ago. Thanks so much for coming out to groove and for supporting Ropetrick’s very first full-band show! I couldn’t ask for better people in my life and am so stoked to see where we take this thing.

Building a band was one of my biggest boogeymen and I’ve been dragging my feet for a while on it. Turns out it’s pretty easy when your friends are talented and caring musicians.

Big shouts to @katiemarriner on guitar, @joelyzuker on the drums, @andrscrow on bass, and my wonderful partner, the man who has to keep hearing me sing about my tumultuous dating history, @siide_quest on the keys.

And thank you to my pal @betterthantristan for the pics!

On the bench! We've got a cool Gibson archtop. We're lucky to have @andrscrow crushing the repair game day in and day out. Old or new, broken or bruised, we got it covered. Thanks Andres for the fine work, and thanks to all of the folks who trust us to bring in their prized musical possessions. We'll keep on keepin' on, fixing the hole so the music can roll. 🧑‍🔧🔧🎶

Resumen de lo que fue mi primera exhibición individual, "𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘢 𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘢 𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘨𝘰!", realizada el 5 de enero en #NuevaYork

Una noche que funcionó como muestra, punto de encuentro entre artistas y amigos, y también como despedida para Greg y para mí, antes de cruzar el Atlántico y comenzar un nuevo capítulo.

Aquí se ve un poco de la instalación y de las personas maravillosas que me acompañaron y ayudaron a que todo fuera posible ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Gracias a cada persona que vino a apoyar, a compartir, a pasar un rato bonito y a cerrar este ciclo conmigo.
Creo que no había mejor manera de despedirme de esta ciudad inmensa, que me dio la oportunidad de seguir evolucionando como artista y como persona.

¡¡¡Quien vive en Nueva York nunca vuelve a ser el mismo!!!

Como último gesto para este capítulo, dejé mi última pieza de #ArteCallejero en el emblemático #FreemanAlley

A brief recap of my first solo exhibition, "𝘏𝘪 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳!", held on January 5th in New York.

A night that served as an exhibition, a meeting point for artists and friends, and also a farewell for Greg and me, before crossing the Atlantic to begin a new chapter.

Here you can see part of the installation and the wonderful people who accompanied me and helped make everything possible.

Thank you to everyone who came to support, share, spend a beautiful moment, and close this cycle with me.
I believe there was no better way to say goodbye to this immense city, which gave me the opportunity to continue evolving as both an artist and a person.

Anyone who lives in New York is never the same again!!!

As a final gesture for this chapter, I left my last piece of #StreetArt in the iconic Freeman Alley.
