I remember writing the first song to this album in April on a bedroom floor I told myself I’d never miss. A lot can change in a year. I lost brothers, made new ones, watched some break old habits, and some started some new habits fresh. I saw brothers break addictions, and at times, more often than not, I never got any rest. I saw myself become the very things I despised, but I’ve never met a human being who whasn’t told a lie, and then by camp fire on a cool winters night I was told that we’re growing up together. I realized some people don’t grow connections beyond a 1 layer bit of an online and in m pool ok we mm person persona, and heard “you never want to live in the hard times but you’re gonna.” I fell in love, fell out of it, but found God at the end of each rope. The combination and culmination of these experiences have been the songs I’ve written, and will continue to write . I promised myself I’d never come home in August, but now I look forward to traveling North East Bound on an early summer morning and on a late summer night. All I hope and pray for is that you enjoy what me and my close friends have created and poured our hearts into. Also happy birthday Maddie
