436.5 km. One charge. One new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title. ⚡🏆

Going the distance takes more than a great motorcycle. It takes the people who engineer it, plan it, prep it, ride it, track it, support it, and somehow keep everything moving through the night (and a whole lot of rain).

This record belongs to every single person who helped make it happen, both behind the scenes and out on the road.

Keep swiping. 👉

Jelle Verstaen from Belgium took on the challenge of beating the record on and by the books, including scouting, a trial run, and thoughtful planning and discipline when it comes to maintaining efficiency for a successful attempt. While he didn’t complete the ride alone, his ride was the only one officially tracked and documented by @guinnessworldrecords.

On a 2027 Zero DS with a commercially available Power Tank installed, Jelle managed a whopping 436.5km’s. Well done @jelleverstaen!

Louis Renaud from France joined the team aboard his personal 2023 Zero SR/S as an independent witness to the attempt and bringing his knowledge of the local roads.

Louis carried on to 350km, finishing with 4% battery remaining just as the rain started picking up. He was pleased to land on a nice, round number and get off the bike to stretch his legs.

Our very own Global Brand Manager, Jenny Brookes, joined the ride on a stock 2026 DSR/X. Often taking photos, sometimes carting around the video crew, regardless of the weather.

Even with a passenger for a portion of the ride and some extremely heavy rain, she managed to squeeze 384km out of one charge — including riding 15km’s past 0% — before the battery finally gave out.

Together the three of them managed to comfortably exceed the previous record set, about 311 kilometers, without any major modifications to the bikes. Just strategic planning and thoughtful riding.

So incredibly grateful for the opportunity of a lifetime. ❤️ Breaking an official @guinnessworldrecords was never in the books for me - at least that’s what I thought…

Riding 436,5 km on a single charge, with standard @zeromotorcycles DS, beating the record by a whopping 125 kilometres. In the books, bam.⚡️ Even better: my two fellow riders Louis and @jennybrookes_ respectively stranded at 350 and 384 km’s - also beating the previous record by a landslide. 🫡

Couldn’t have done this without the help of a great bunch of people, though. ❤️

First and foremost my lovely wife @babz_callens who always has my back, and supports (almost) every mad idea that escapes my helmet - even if it means leaving her and the girls alone for the gazillionth time in a row.🫶

And of course a massive thanks to the fantastic team at @zeromotorcycles, to crazy photo- and videographers @andy_asco and @manudesoomer, and to my bonkers boss @thierry_sarasyn and great collegues at @motornieuws. 🫡 And let’s not forget the amazing brands keeping me safe at all time and making sure I get home in one piece: @shoeieurope, @revit_official, @inandmotion and @moskomoto 🔥

Oh, and special kudos for Coeman Packaging for the lastminute anti-tamper tape! Legends! 😅🙌
