After 14 years, I made my way back to the #nscc in Chicago and I’m so, so happy that I did. I met so many wonderful people in the hobby, many of whom I have interacted with virtually and finally put a face to a name. The National truly reminds you why this hobby community is so special and how many others share the love and passion for collecting, for sports, and for the history of baseball like I do. In just a few days, I picked up three grail cards that I absolutely love, went to Wrigley for the first time and saw the Cubs win (in the fastest game of 2025, a mere 1 hour 49 min!), and saw many cards in person that I have never seen before. Most importantly, I was able to bring my dad for his 75th birthday and spend time experiencing much of this together. Truly a weekend that I will never forget. I hope to see many of you back in Chicago again next year!

@nsccshow 2024 is in the bag. I had a great time digging for cards, chatting/negotiating with dealers, seeing old friends and making new ones. There’s obviously negative aspects of all shows and the hobby but i chose to focus on the positives. I get so much out of being involved in #thehobby. Truly. The energy of the hunt and the excitement of finding/landing that chase card or stumbling on something that you never knew existed is unparalleled. I’ve always been a collector, tattoos, art, shoes, books, comics etc but w cards it taps in to so many different aspects of who i am as a person. Glad to be part of it. Grateful for the deals and the time spent w old and new friends. See you in Chicago. ✌🏽
