Hi all! Hope you’re all doing well and had a nice summer!☀️

Our second Improv Lottery will be on October 16th. Wolf and I are gathering again with some friends at our studio at Art Olive TonKunstHalle in Köln-Mülheim to play some music together.

This time we’ll be joined by @_korberd_ and @andy_hafner . We’ll start the evening with a small opening set at 21h, followed by an Improv Lottery free improv jam session.

Everyone can take part in the lottery. We’ll throw all the names into a hat, make little ensembles on the spot and see what kind of music happens together:)

We have some instruments at the space like piano, bass, drums and synth, but feel free to bring your own instrument, electronics, voice or anything else you’d like to play with.

Drinks will be provided by us, and if you’d like, you can also leave a little donation to support the whole thing:)

Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

We had such a great time on stage together in Cologne 💫

Performing my one and only German poem in two parts:

'Ich Und Die Anderen Mit Neigung Zu Identitätsverlust (Teil 1)'

und 'Ich Und Die Anderen Mit Neigung Zu Realitätsverlust (Teil 2)'

And a piece of Davids called 'Die Zeit'

Poetry and free collective improvisation

with the 5 of us @bejersdavids @_korberd_ @wolfrobertstratmann @andy_hafner
though some are not on the photo.

It's a pleasure to share the stage with you. Big thanks to Davids, who made it possible, my dear friend and amazing musician, with who I studied Master in Jazz

Danke, Köln 💚

Last Saturday, we had our first Improv Lottery session in our small practice room!

It was a small, intimate, and cozy setting, but full of inspiration, unexpected musical moments, and love💛

We’re hoping to keep these sessions going regularly from now on, so stay tuned for the next one!

For now, we’ll leave you with a few snippets from our first session :)

V1 Opening trio: me, @wolfrobertstratmann & @ki__tsune
V2 Opening solo: Alexis Flower
V3 Lottery trio: @andy_hafner , Nazz, Alexis

SOUNDSCAPES IMPROV SESSION #6

Late summer finds us again at Monopol, at Studio Daidarabotchi.

Inside the atelier of painter @ryoji_homma , among paintings, colours, traces and silence, we gather to listen.
Music crew: @izumi.yamamoto @andy_hafner @jiuq_19 @mergrim @leowieber @florianrosier @nerual.music @takeshi__nishimoto @adam_harzuf @tashmee.n @_m3ms_

No beginning.
No ending.
No fixed path.

Only sound moving through the room.

A note appears.
Another one answers.
A rhythm dissolves.
Silence opens a door.

Artists from different places, backgrounds and cultures meet in the same moment — shaping something that cannot be rehearsed, only experienced.

🎨 Image becomes sound.
Sound becomes movement.
Movement becomes silence.

There will be open spaces for free improvisation.
Musicians are welcome to enter the circle — a short technical registration via DM is appreciated.

15:00 — doors open
16:00–23:00 — live improvisation
23:00 → end — DJ set

🌭Food (salsa-hotdog), drinks, late-summer air.

📍 MONOPOL
Provinzstr. 40–44
13409 Berlin

Come without expectation.
Listen without searching.
Stay for as long as the sound carries you.

Perhaps the music is already there.
We are only making space for it. 🌀

Eva Swiderski - Gesang
@bejersdavids - Gitarre / Komposition
@ob2piano - Piano
@paulasteimer - Saxophon
@emil.buchholtz - Bass
@andy_hafner - Schlagzeug
