We're pleased to announce another amazing official selection for the 2nd Annual ISFF, an outstanding retrospective from the NISS (@nisstour) organization. NISS Tour- Atlanta Street Skating History. Fimed and edited by Phillip Gripper (@phillgrip).

In 1992 Chris Edward's (@airman_ce ) grinded one of the first handrails and ledges in rollerblading history at the Marta in Downtown Atlanta! These clips were featured in Video Groove Mag (@videogroovemag) Dare to Air freestyle video and would open the imaginations of bladers from around the world. The Peachtree Marta station holds some special history as it was not only one of the first sites were rails and ledges were hit on blades but legends Tom Hyser (@hysie75) and Andy Kruse (@andy_kruser) would create and perform the first Alley-oop mizu, kind grind and sweat stance maneuvers. This film celebrates the rich history of Atlanta street skating, featuring Julien Bah, Rob Thompson, Metha Balasquides, Cameron Card, Chris Edwards, Tom Hyser, Patrick Anderson, Jamie Olmstead, Robert Arias and many more.

We thank Chris, Phillip and the NISS organization for this historic film and were honored to premiere it at the 2nd Annual Inline Skate Film Festival!

Hotlanta! What a weekend! Still riding high and grooving from the Captain’s of Concrete event @nisstour stop 2 hosted by @sk8tl_official . So many amazing tricks thrown down by everyone who attended and I managed to snag a few myself surrounded by so much inspiration! I visited the Peachtree Marta station where some historical things went down including myself doing one of the first handrails in history along with the first backside grinds on a ledge and where @andy_kruser would create the sweatstance and kind grinds and @hysie75 busted out the first ever true spin mizu! We gathered again on Sunday to film a piece celebrating this historical site and the amazing street skating Atlanta has showcased over the past 3 decades! @phillgrip editing it all together now and will be available to watch by June 15 @nisstv8 on YouTube! Can’t wait for the NISSTV show to drop! Stay tuned and in the meantime time…

Keep Rolling Strong! 💪🏻❤️👊🏻

When it comes to street blading, no other city on the planet has deeper roots! . In 1992 I grinded one of the first handrails and ledges in our communities history at this Marta in downtown Atlanta! These clips were featured in @videogroovemag Dare to Air freestyle video and would open the imaginations of bladers from around the world. The peachtree Marta station holds some special history as it was not only one of the first sites where rails and ledges were hit on blades but legends @hysie75 and @andy_kruser would create and perform the first alley oop mizu, kind grind and sweat stance maneuvers. Bladers from around the world have visited this site and has been documented in countless videos since 1992. @nisstour is proud to announce we will be doing a full section in the upcoming YouTube show created by @phillgrip celebrating the rich history of Atlanta street skating featuring Atlantas own @j_bah @patr1ckandersen along with special legendary guests @simpleempire787 (Rob Thompson) @cameroncard @_robert__arias_ @metha4 and blading videographer @jamieolmstead and blading photographer @slaychain who provided the photos for this montage! What a great weekend we just had at The Captains of Concrete event. Huge shout out to @sk8tl_official for another great event and all of their efforts keeping the Atlanta scene bumping and thriving! Stay blessed bladers and most of all…

Keep Rolling Strong! 💪🏻❤️👊🏻
