musings from 2025 💭

milestones:
•moved 1000 miles away from home
•got first adult job after grueling, months-long job hunt
•relaunched website for @teacupbytiffany and started vending at in person events
•first international solo trip
•3 new countries, 1 new state visited - new memories made in old ones
•made new friends, cherished day 1s

And while I highlight these peak moments, in between all of these milestones were many hardships, failures and tears (🦤) My hardest challenge by far over the past few years, and really this past one, was learning how to accept change. A lot of people always say to me “it’s so cool how much you’ve done and how you’re living your best life, doing everything you set out to do” and i agree but behind everything i post, ive struggled so hard to cope with many things - living away from my people and not having unlimited time w them which is incredibly lonely, the inevitable aging of my parents and puppy, the decline of health in other family members, lost relationships and people being too busy adulting.

BUT this has pushed me to cherish the present moments even more and thank the past ones for making it all possible. Year of the snake was meant to shed everything that was old, while year of the horse will be bounding into new beginnings. Thank you to everyone who has been part of my 2025. I will continue loving w a full heart and finding ways to discover life to its full extent. I’m so excited and even more so to share it w all of you.

Ever since Covid and since Andy and I have moved out, it’s been really hard to coordinate our family’s schedules in order to travel together. We used to do a trip somewhere every year but traveling to Nova Scotia back in the summer of 2022 was kinda our last big trip w all four of us. One thing i dont miss about family trips tho? My dad’s snoring…

anyways, enjoy some of our pearls from nova scotia. I was in awe of the natural beauty everywhere but also surprised by how COLD it got (despite what my attire looks like in the pics), especially in the evenings. This trip kinda actually made me want to move to canada bc everyone was so nice, the life was so chill there was no hustle and bustle like there is in the usa. But the grass is always greener :)
