All a blur.
Huge joint @nasa_ne @nasamidatlantic event.
Ended up instructing for a customer of one of the racers from my hometown region, NASAMA, SpecE30 gang. Solid. The car was doing triple duty all day long. Got a ton of practice getting in and out of a fully caged race car. Rentals usually get a bad reputation but they were on point. First picture is just a casual trailing arm change during lunch, finishing right on time, ten minutes before our session started. "You don't need an alignment when all the settings are always maxed out" 😅
I don't know how they can even park like that with no power steering 🤣
Kind of nice to not have to adjust air pressures, jack up the car, work under the car, change wheels, move tires, cover up the car, change into rain tires for the rain, torque wheel nuts, or load and unload the trailer.
Shoutout to all of the NASANE staff, senior instructors, and group leaders always doing a great job, maintaining standards, and dealing with all of the chaos.
Making more and more friends as well, starting to see the starting evolutionary form of our current group of friends with a small canopy setup and a few cars neatly parked across from us @e.richong @johnnnly while on our side, we've painfully moved on to an extra large canopy, a few shops, and a row of parked trailers. I've been in three manual GRSupras on track so far!
Glad to see old faces as well, even if just stopping by to say hello despite their busy schedules.
Congratulations to @gqeyes @gear.247 TT3 winner, @e.richong passing his checkride, @ji530k_h to a new personal best, and thank you to @team_anbd for setting up basecamp this event.
