Relay for life! This year DKP raised over $8,000 for the American Cancer Society at our main philanthropic event.

The group raised the most funds out of any group, and for another year in a row won the dodgeball tournament!

After a calm spring break the guys go back and rolling with a super busy week. The boys started off by cleaning up Brother Micheal Rapp’s barn and preparing it for our RAVE informal. Huge shoutout to brother Rapp for allowing us such a great space for our event!

The guys then started Sunday off at our semesterly high way cleanup. Dodging the wind and the weather picking up the highway.

Finally the weekend wrapped up with members of the brotherhood participating in an intramural flag football game, the guys took home second place losing in the final seconds.

One of DKP’s main philanthropies is Relay for Life, so of course we were thrilled to take part in the 2025 Relay for Life Game Show, hosted by our own Rian Green. After a small hiccup in the minute to win it, our team of brothers Anderson, Pulte, and Seifferlein rallied back in Relay Jeopardy and Who Wants to be a Millionaire to get the dub. Special thanks to @doanerelay for putting this together!

Someone who loves true crime is called a “murderino.” What do you call Honors students who study America’s fascination with true crime? You tell us. 😉

This semester Professor Melanie Ritzenthaler is teaching a course that traces the evolution of our true crime fascination from the Salem Witch Trials to serial killers, from notorious cults to “highbrow” cinema reenactments.

We are fascinated, both with the course and with the content!
