Are we a punk band now??
---
Huge thank you to The Teasers giving me my riot grrrl moment this weekend 🥹

This silly moment (I love that @andybrems couldn't help but crack a smile the whole time) was so special to me as a long time punk fan.

My dad first introduced me to punk with The Dead Kennedys N*zi Punks F*ck Off. The Dead Kennedys are still my favorite punk band (only with Jello of course). I wish he could have been there, he wold have loved it.

At my great aunt and uncle's 50th anniversary party, my dad dared me to see if the jazz band could learn Punk Rock Girl by The Dead Milkmen on the fly and let me sing it. They did and I got all my nieces and nephews to do a mini moshpit. I was 15. It's still my go-to karaoke song 😜

My dad would have gotten a kick out of this performance.

Thank you to all my friends in @theteasersmusic for convincing me to do it and to @camera.dan_ for capturing it💕

We are always so grateful and blessed for our amazing band each year, that performs the songs with joy and supports the students with care and enthusiasm. 2025 has been no different! Each year the band includes award winners, masters in their profession, and most importantly, cool people. No red carpet can contain us! 📸: @jus10h

Last night I headed back to @thecatscrawl to see @burlesqueandchill Eat Cake (then the Rich) as the first of my birthday shenanigans.

I treated myself to VIP tickets which meant I got a table up front, a free drink, signed photos, and a treat box by @jammiecupcake

I decided to cut my footage into two parts because there was just too much goodness that deserves to shine!
