Literally LOVED working with @marriotthotels and @busboysandpoets last night on their third annual tribute to the great American poet #LangstonHughes, who first started out as a busboy at D.C.’s own @mhwardmanpark back in the 1920s (the hotel turned 100 last year!) before moving to New York and playing a seminal role in the Harlem Renaissance. 💕🖋📜 #loveis #blackhistorymonth

“The issue that Bryan Stevenson talks about is the most significant issue of our time, if we are to truly become a just world.” Our founder Andy’s #BusboysHolidayGifts choice is Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson. What is the issue Andy is referring to? You’ll have to grab a copy to find out.

With the amazing Andy Shallal at @busboysandpoets DC (K Street) location, at the installation of “Watching Waiting Dreaming” posters on their main stage a few years ago. So honored to be even a small part of this great DC institution for humanity!

Today, our founder @andyshallal joined a group of amazing speakers at the “Transitioning to #Vegan” event on Capitol Hill. 🌽🍅 Speaking to the importance of a #plantbased lifestyle, he said “There is a kind of spiritual connection that we have with these animals. There’s a recognition of how the ecosystem works from A to Z.” For more about the event, check out our latest blog post! 🌱
