My watercolour wash painting has been selected for the National Art Exhibition at Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi.
From over 8000 entries across the country, 230 artworks were selected to be part of this prestigious exhibition. To see my work on these walls is a moment I will always cherish.

I still remember his warm hug and that firm, reassuring grip—full of affection and silent encouragement. Wherever he stood, the space felt alive with positivity.

This photograph, shared with Raghu Rai Sir, Aditya Arya, and Sounak Banerjee, is not just a memory—it is a quiet reminder of an aura, a presence, and a way of seeing life that stays within me.

Now that he is no longer with us, this frame has become even more precious—holding not just a moment, but a lifelong connection.

Some moments don’t fade…

Tribute to the “LEGEND” - THE TRIBUNE

The passing of Shri Raghu Rai ji feels like the quiet fading of a timeless light—one that illuminated not just frames, but the very way we learned to see. He didn’t just teach photography—he showed us how to see. Not only through the camera, but through our own sensitivity towards life. Through his work, we learned that photography is not just about images, it is about connection, about understanding people, and about feeling a moment before capturing it.

“I had the privilege of meeting him so many times in my journey. Those moments were always special. He never spoke too much, but whatever he said stayed with me. Whenever I showed him my work, he looked at it with honesty and warmth. His simple words, “you are doing well,” meant a lot and encouraged me to keep going, to see deeper and be more truthful in my work. There was always certain positivity around him; wherever he stood, the whole atmosphere felt calm, strong, and full of life”.

Today, while we feel this loss deeply, I believe his vision will always stay with us. Every time we pick up a camera, somewhere his way of seeing will guide us—to be honest, to be sensitive, and to create with feeling. He may not be with us physically, but his presence will always remain in the way we see and understand photography.
