Thanks to everyone who came out to Sly Curtis and packed the room. ❤️

I’ve been in this band since I was around 21, and now I’m 30. That’s nearly a decade of learning, growing, and sharing the stage with some of Austin’s finest musicians. Sly Curtis has taught me so much over the years, and every time we get to do one of these shows, it feels special. The band has long been an Austin all-star tribute to the music of Sly Stone and Curtis Mayfield.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us through the years. Whether you’ve seen one show or twenty, your energy keeps this thing alive.

And thank you to @regalroomsatx and everyone who came up and said hi at the end. Getting to play the music and then spend time with the community that surrounds it is the best part.

Much love. Until next time. ✨

Sometimes the most radical thing you can do is take the dang night off.

“Night Off” by Secret Emchy Society is a little reminder that rest is deserved, self-care is necessary, and you don’t have to earn the right to take care of yourself.

We were lucky enough to have Secret Emchy Society bring this one into the OUTlaw Pride studio for our latest in-studio performance.

Where queer country comes home. 🏳️‍🌈🤠

Rooted in Southern musical traditions and colored by confessional ‘90s angst, Ever More Nest creates music that’s as comforting as it is emotionally honest.
