To my FNL family: THANK YOU for giving me a place to belong and be myself. The skills I've gained, memories I've made, and friendships I've formed with all of you have been a huge contribution to my growth and success this last semester! Being trusted with such a big role definitely pushed me to the next level and forced me to step up my professionalism and knowledge on the industry. I have learned so much from absolutely everyone on the FNL team and I can't wait to see how much we improve together next semester!!!

7 years ago this week, I released my acoustic album “Pseudomyopia”! 💜

PseudoMyopia (coproduced by me & @andyzulla) gave me something positive and hopeful to focus on when my energy came back between cancer treatments…we worked on it remotely and built new arrangements around the original vocals which was a great way to sporadically work on music when my energy was up to it, and to give the songs from Myopia a new life, once I was well and could perform again!

Listen to the album on all streaming platforms mpress.lnk.to/Pseudomyopia

Posting on my own Instagram is apparently not my superpower…
But here’s some proof I’ve been doing things lately 😎📸

The last few days hangin’ in #NYC I’ve gotten to reunite w/ some dear music-mentors & old friends, & make a couple new friends too! (Also the bathroom of my doctors’ office had yellow wallpaper w/ giraffes). How are y’all all doing? It’s been a very tough week in so many ways, with so much terrible news and sadness…but connecting w/ friends is definitely my anchor at the moment. (And of course, cute holiday Frida Kahlo-themed crafts ;) Stay safe & be gentle with each other, everyone! Sending xo & light ✨🙏 🌸🌻🌺

FLASHBACK FRIDAY

10 years ago, I created a 16 minute original musical short that featured 7 original songs that I co-wrote and co-produced with @andyzulla . It went on to be featured in over 30 film festivals worldwide, including the Cannes Short Film Festival, winning numerous awards. It was a deeply personal project and one of the things I am still the most proud of. This short film co-starred @csaculla , @joliejenkins , and the lovely @georgehtakei .
This was the first song that I wrote for this project.

You can watch the whole film here:
