Just in time for witchy season… ‘Ghost Song’ is here 🕯️✨🌙

This song is an ode to the divine feminine. The mystical force that guides us all, if we’re open to receiving her energy and grace. Floating somewhere between lullaby and séance, ‘Ghost Song’ is about embracing both our shadows and our light — finding the magic in every moment, and trusting that the path is being laid out for us, even if we can’t quite see it yet…

Thank you to the beautiful crew who made this song happen. @galmusette for your writing, your vocals, your beautiful flourishes. @thisisntjohnv for bringing this whole album to life with such thought and intention. @deansatoshireid for balancing it all with a stunning mix. @idaniava for your gorgeous master.

Creating the visual world was also such a dream. Thank you @ane.krutova for creating this set. @iamgabriellamancha for being my forever glam girl and sister. @danielleernst for capturing the cover so beautifully. @jac.cheairs for creating such stunning lighting and capturing the motion. @b3zs_compound for letting us transform your magical space. @David.frankk for being there every minute, from set up to breakdown. @ellavos for bringing your taste and fabric and amazing vibes.

Thank you to the team at @supergluerecords for all of your help on this release. Thank you @norinavc for nailing all of the important details.

Eve’s Garden

Eve’s Garden imagines a world where women gather in safety, free from expectation and judgment. Here, they are simply themselves — open, vulnerable, and whole. In this garden, women savor the richness of life side by side, supporting one another. It took 1.5 years to be done. The prayer here is for belonging — for each woman to have the space to flourish through connection. —Ané Krutova

Thank you to our community who joined It’s Okay to Try Mending today at @petitermitagehotel with @chelseaprobably and @ane.krutova 🪡

If you’ve been around here at By Way of Us for some time you’ll know that in 2017-2018 @chelseaprobably and I hosted a monthly breakfast at SoHo House called Good Mornings. It was intentionally held on Wednesday mornings so that regardless of how M and T went, we hoped Th and F would be better. We always ended the session with “what do you need right now?”

Many of the women I met over those first two years I was in LA are the women we’ve featured in our magazine It’s Okay to Try. Women behind the scenes, doing the work for themselves and for the community around them regardless if anyone is watching. People who do the work cause they love the work, not because they want press about the work.

Today felt like a full circle moment for what we’ve been doing for so long. Thank you @chelseaprobably and @margueritebb for these sweet memories
