Last few weeks I have been putting the gi back on to help some of the team get ready for @ibjjf Worlds. I’m not competing but I love being a part of teammates camps. Although I’m in a camp of my own, I love learning new things. Last night I had the chance to train with @rogergracie - we’ve shared the mats together a few times but never rolled. Back when I was just starting jiu-jitsu I tried to model a lot of my game to Roger’s style. My first coach was Roger’s uncle, @riliongracie. I remember he brought Roger in for a seminar when I was a blue belt and to this day I still use some of the details he showed that day over a decade ago. We rolled and after I was able to pick his brain on some great passing details that I was instantly able to apply this morning during gi practice. Thank you for the great workout, knowledge and for setting the bar in our sport. Oh, and swipe for a rare photo of @lexfridman smiling :)

Had a blast in the great Texas outdoors yesterday with the JJ crew. Open fire BBQ, bit of target practice, & ATV riding ☀️✨

it’s Tuesday but mentally I’m still bumping from my weekend vibes! Pretty sunsets, hikes, lovely dinners, podcasting, climbing trees & then there’s dancing at the disco with fancy mocktails 🪩 💃🏽

February wasn’t my valentine, but it definitely fueled my creative fire. Revealing I’m a passionate & killer artist with works of love in progress. I know myself & my work is evolving into masterpieces, taking it one day at a time. Grateful for good company having fun with me along the way 🙏🏽🫶🏽
