#UTNYGrad and 2023 @UTexasMcCombs Marketing major Anel Cuarenta is set to begin a job as a fashion merchandiser at @Abercrombie now that she’s graduated. She describes her time at UTNY as an incredible experience that gave her lifelong friendships and a love for the city. It also helped her connect with her passions and better determine a direction for her career.

“My biggest takeaway from UTNY was understanding that knowing what you don’t want to do is just as important as knowing what you want. Everything happens for a reason and you’ll end up where you need to be!” she says. Congratulations, Anel!

“COR gave me an opportunity to meet ADPI outside the normal recruitment process, on a more personal level and at a slower pace which made it so much more valuable! The girls I met were so welcoming and genuinely interested in getting to know me. At ADPI I felt like I could be my most genuine self - it was the only house during my recruitment process that I felt I could openly speak about my Hispanic culture and be loved and welcomed for it! I have met incredible girls who have become some of my best friends and I would not have changed anything about my experience!”
