Our 20 #Acting4Film finalists have completed an extraordinary journey starting with their self-tapes, transitioning to a month of one-on-one mentorship and then, eventually, filming their scenes on the Volume screen at Atlantic Studios with a professional crew and (rather famous) co-actors! Now their work is in the hands of our 2026 #A4F Finals Adjudicators: Anele Matoti, Amy Jephta and Waldemar Schultz. They have the difficult task of adjudicating the final performances across all four categories – including, for the first time, our brand-new Shooting Stars category! 🌟 THE SHOOTING STARS Annabella Stam | Grade 8 | Curro Durbanville Judi Hattingh | Grade 8 | Curro Durbanville Koni Mtshizana | Grade 12 | Curro Vanderbijlpark Lilibeth Bazuin | Grade 8 | Windhoek Gymnasium Morgan Bell | Grade 12 | Curro Century City ⭐ THE STARS Jared Meyer | Grade 12 | Curro Klerksdorp Kayla Magabe | Grade 11 | Curro Heuwelkruin Kelebogile Ntsoelengoe | Grade 12 | Curro Krugersdorp Mukundi Mudau | Grade 12 | Curro Heuwelkruin Notsile Nkumane | Grade 11 | The King’s School Linbro Park ✨ THE RISING STARS Hannah-Kate Gibson | Grade 9 | Curro Durbanville Khanya Mbelebele | Grade 8 | HeronBridge College Leonie Zimmermann | Grade 9 | Curro Durbanville Mukhethwa Masakona | Grade 10 | Northern Academy Secondary Ominathi Khumalo | Grade 10 | Grantleigh 🎥 THE YOUNGSTARS Alba Augustyn | Grade 4 | Curro Durbanville Gerlo Hattingh | Grade 5 | Curro Durbanville Motheo Lekalakala | Grade 6 | Curro Midrand Halfway Gardens Sabelosethu Vilakazi | Grade 6 | HeronBridge College Sloane Conradie | Grade 6 | Curro Durbanville But before we get to the trophies, there’s one very important thing left to do… The #Acting4Film Finals Showcase is getting closer, and we cannot wait to celebrate the incredible work these young actors have created. A glittering BLUE carpet event will take place later this month where all of the works will be screened - and then released exclusively on our Youtube channel from 24 September. Set your alarm clocks, you don't want to miss out on the biggest learner-based film and tv project in South Africa!
